Update

We’ve released Optia 2.0.2, an update that includes a few small but important changes.

First, the EMP bomb will be unlocked for everyone. We initially wanted it to be difficult to unlock, so people wouldn’t immediately resort to using it, but it seems we made it much too hard for anyone to get.

Second, the uploads-remaining counter is smarter. There was a hole in our system - some people found that they could delete a level with the intention of creating a new one, and before finishing the new one, lose an upload for a separate reason. Then, when they tried to submit their new level, they would be told that they didn’t have enough uploads.

This was a flaw, so from now on, for every level you delete, you’ll get an extra upload that only disappears when you make a new level - so you can’t accidentally get locked out of making more levels. This will also be retroactively applied to everyone, so it should be as if this problem never existed.

These changes, along with a couple of additional bug fixes, should be a big improvement. As always, if you have any complaints, suggestions, or kind words, let us know!
